USPS guidelines regarding EDDM mailers need to be completely understood and met before creating any mail piece. Standard mail flats are actually the only mail pieces that are possible to be used with EDDM retail mailers. The mail flats need to be rectangular.Other USPS guidelines require that one proper EDDM mailer has to be more than ¼ inches thick, up to 6 1/8 inches high and more than 11.5 inches long. Furthermore, a regular EDDM mailer cannot be more than15 inches long, 12 inches high or 3/4 inch thick. More information about these specifications can be found on the web site of USPS.
